In this tutorial, we will show you how to set up your CNAME record for your domain so you can publish to that domain with Kickpages.
This tutorial is for users whose DNS settings are handled in their hostings cpanel.
Complete these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account
- Find and click the "Zone" icon under the "Domain" category
- Locate your domain in the list and click on "MANAGE"
- Locate the WWW version of your domain name and click on "EDIT"
In the editor that appears, replace the "Record" value with: publish.kickpages.com
Make sure you enter this with NO . or trailing / at the end of the CNAME record or it will not work.
Replace the number value with 60
- Click on "SAVE RECORD"
This will update your CNAME record. it can take up to 48 hours to update, depending on your domain.
